Sage 50 Report Scheduler

Sage 50 Accounts allows users to manually run PDF and Excel reports. Often these reports can take a long time to run, and many users need to run the same reports regularly.

The Sage 50 Report Scheduler add-on streamlines this process by enabling automated, customisable report scheduling. Reports can be generated and saved in the background at set times – without even needing to open Sage.

Sage 50 Report Scheduler

Report generation is highly configurable, allowing for any Sage report file with any criteria.

Automated reports can be saved as a PDF, CSV, Excel, HTML and more onto your PC, OneDrive or file share.

If a continued trail of reports are required, the date and time can be included in the file name of the generated reports to avoid overwriting any previous report files.

Any number of custom criteria values specific to the Sage report you intend to run can be specified to filter the data included in the report.

For reports that consider relative time periods, a number of relative date range filters are available.

Once your report configuration is set up, the report can be run directly as a test, converted into a batch file or PowerShell script that can be run at a later date, or created as a scheduled task in Windows Task Scheduler.

Creating a scheduled task does all the work for you using Windows Task Scheduler. Windows will continue to generate the Sage 50 report at the specified time(s) as long as your machine is switched on.

If preferred, the report generation process can be packaged into a generated batch file or PowerShell script that allows the report to be run effortlessly, and can simplify the automation workflow.
